“Wine to me is a passion. It’s warmth of heart and generosity of spirit. Wine is art. It’s culture. It’s the essence of civilization and the heart of living.”
— ROBERT MONDAVI
Bringing a vision
to life
Once known as the smallest winery in South Africa, Lemberg was established in 1978 by the celebrated winemaker Janey Muller who was known for her Sauvignon Blanc and Hárslevelü. She planted the very first Sauvignon Blanc vines when she established the estate and soon became well-known for her pioneering winemaking style. In 1984 she released the first Hárslevelü with a label of the same name, and in 1987 renamed it simply “Lemberg”.

Excellent wine - friendly staff and awesome bulldogs - highly recommend the Pinot Noir and the white Blanc de Noir.

Veautiful scenery. We were welcomed by the beautiful 4 bulldogs on the farm. Great that it was pet-friendly for our 4-month-old puppy. (That we have arranged beforehand)

A jewel to visit. The wines are all excellent and very reasonably priced. They also have a delicious platter which we enjoyed next to the farm dam with the most beautiful views. We will definitely be back.
